O Projeto Phidias

A proposta do projeto Phidias, patrocinado pela Materialise da Bélgica, foi apresentada em abril de 1998 com a finalidade de avaliar a prototipagem rápida na área de saúde durante um período de 4 anos, com a participação de 40 parceiros distribuídos por 11 países da Comunidade Européia. A rede projetou um perfil de um campo muito detalhado das aplicações dos modelos médicos, levando em conta a qualidade, a relevância clínica, os aspectos socioeconômicos e o impacto na indústria de implantes.
